Does Dossima replace my claims system?
No. Dossima connects to your claims mailbox and works next to the system you already use. If a link to that system turns out to be useful, we build it later.
Which claims does it handle?
Marine claims of every line: cargo, hull and machinery, war risks and P&I. Each claim gets its own file.
Does it decide who is liable?
No. It shows you what the documents say, with the page each entry comes from. The decision is yours.
Does Dossima read my whole mailbox?
No. You choose the mailbox or folder Dossima reads, for example your claims inbox. Everything else stays out.
What about documents that don't come by email?
Forward them to the claim, upload them, or connect a shared folder such as SharePoint. They are filed like everything else.
